The Diviner can check to see how many players among three appear to use Magic. Each night a player is chosen and then they, plus each living neighbour, is checked. The Diviner is then told whether there is no magic, weak magic or strong magic among those three players.
- No magic means definitively no player among the three uses magic in their role.
- Weak magic means exactly one player among those three uses magic in their role.
- Strong magic means two or three players among those three uses magic in their role.

New Player Advice
- Most magic users are village aligned as there are not many members of the Wolfpack who use it - however the few that do are very powerful wolves, such as the Shapeshifter. Finding a shapeshifter would be very valuable to the village - but also risks outing village roles who use magic.
- As with all role claims, knowing when to claim and when to wait is a skill that takes time to learn. If you have information you think is valuable to the village then sometimes coming out with that information is more important than your life - but if you wait then you might live longer to get even more useful information. Alternatively you might die before giving any of it.
Useful Notes
- The Diviner themselves can never be part of the three people checked (so you cannot check your neighbours).
