New Player Advice

  • The information you can give as the mortician can help the village know how well they are doing. It's especially important to look at who did - and did not - vote for certain people. If you find out you may have killed a wolf the previous day, perhaps look at who didn't want that to happen.
  • Remember that like all roles that check alignment, you cannot tell the difference between a Direwolf and a villager, or a Scapegoat and a wolf. Your information is not 100% accurate.
  • As with all role claims, knowing when to claim and when to wait is a skill that takes time to learn. If you have information you think is valuable to the village then sometimes coming out with that information is more important than your life - but if you wait then you might live longer to get even more useful information. Alternatively you might die before giving any of it.

Useful Notes

  • Players who are executed whilst under the effects of the Bloodletter will still look like Werewolves to you.
  • Whilst you cannot be blocked by the Direwolf as you don't visit any players, if there are any other sources of role-Block in the game, you can be prevented from getting your check.
