The Villager is the basic role of the Village faction. Villagers are often numerous in any particular game and have no special night abilities. The role of villagers is to use their combined numbers to vote together to kill evil players. If villagers can work out who is on their team through social deduction, their combined voting power is significant and can be used to turn the tide of the game towards the Village.
