The Seer is a powerful information gathering role for the Village. Each night they wake up and choose a player. They are then told if that player appears to be a member of the Wolfpack or the Village. They are not told anything about the role of the player they check, only their apparent alignment. Some roles can fool the Seer to appear as Village when they are really a wolf (such as the Direwolf) or to look like a wolf when they are village (such as the Scapegoat.

New Player Advice
- The Seer is one of the most powerful roles that the Village have, therefore knowing when to reveal your information is the biggest decision you'll make. There are some roles and abilities that can make your information not 100% reliable, so a wolf check is not always an indication someone is evil, but could be worth revealing if you think it helps the village to execute the right players. As with all intel roles, the decision to stay hidden and hope for more information versus the risk of dying before giving any of it is a tricky choice to make.
Useful Notes
- The Seer may re-check a player they have already checked if they wish, in case that player has changed alignment through roles such as the Shapeshifter or if they believe their first check was manipulated by roles such as the Bloodletter.
